NO SHE DOESN’T KNOW. GOD FUCKING DAMNIT, DOCTOR!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
Imagine your OTP arguing about what color to choose for the new baby’s bedroom.
Anyway, gobsmacking 4.11 rushes today. No kidding, one of the finest pieces of acting I have ever seen - when Catherine realises that she’s going to die. She’s crying with horror. Absolutely perfect. I texted her to say thanks. She’s a very private person, I’m never 100 per cent sure what she thinks about things, but she texted back: ‘I’m so lucky to be doing all this. It’s wonderful to be part of it.’ That made me happy. Very happy. For many hours.
- Russell T Davies: The Writer’s Tale
Let’s be real here. Everything about this episode is my favourite thing about this episode, so picking just one scene from Turn Left is a bit ridiculous. I do, however, adore what this scene in particular says about Donna. Because she’s so beautifully, heartbreakingly brave here - brimming with hope and the belief that things can only be better in a world that has the Doctor in it. Then she realises that she’s doomed: that she will have to die to bring this man she has never met back into the world. It’s an utterly terrifying thought for anybody: the destruction of oneself, the lack of a future, the loss of everything you’ve ever known. How many people would keep going at this point? But that’s why Donna Noble is the most important woman in all of creation: because, in a world without her skinny spaceman, the magnificent, brilliant Donna Noble doesn’t stop trying. She doesn’t stop caring, or fighting. No - she dies so that this horrible, broken world can blink out of existence… she sacrifices herself to set the universe right again.
See you two for the 50th Anniversary! You have no idea how much we’ve missed you!
Rose Tyler + empathy and compassion
God…the way she looks at him when she says “Yes!”, and for that brief moment after. Especially the moment after. Her eyes just sort of gorgeous open to look at him more, and there’s just love in her eyes. Just…love. <3<3<3
AND THEN HE DOES THAT LITTLE SMILE! AND JUST — MY HEART CAN’T TAKE IT!!!
#do you guys ever wonder if the doctor told rory the story about him and rose #he told him that story because he didn’t want rory to be jealous of amy and himself #so one day while amy was out getting breakfast for them the doctor sat rory down in the control room #and took his jacket off and just looked up at the console room #and started off with ‘You know rory you haven’t any need to be worried about Amy and Me’ #and slowly he told rory the story of rose and himself #and how he’d never quite recover from that shop girl from london without her grade a’s #he tells rory of each time he had to leave her and how strongly his love grew each time she was back #and how each time he was certain that he would tell her that he loved her because he was sure he really would #but he didn’t #and said ‘thats why I am able to love amy so much and tell her because she’s the first face this face seen and she’s seared into my hearts… #but for me she isn’t rose #she’s the best friend and sister that i had never gotten to have after the rest left #she is your Rose #she isn’t mine rory you neednt worry about our friendship #I would never take someones Rose away from them’ and he would do whatever he could to keep the two from ever separating #which is why in the asylum he worked so hard to bring them together because even amy knew that he would try #And then rory remembered this story long before the asylum and how it went about #how he turned to the doctor and said #”This isnt fair. Youre turning me into you” #And thats all it took for the Doctor to realize that yes #he really was #and it wasnt fair in the slightest #I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OKAY #RORY FEELINGS
This song is ending. But the story never ends
You brought colours into my life.
rebloggin this every time

Doctor Who Announces All-Star Cast for 50th Anniversary
Ahead of tonight’s premiere, Doctor Who has today revealed some of the all-star cast that will mark the 50th anniversary. David Tennant and Billie Piper will join current Doctor and companion, Matt Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman, while John Hurt (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Alien, Harry Potter) will also co-star.
Last seen as the Doctor on January 1st 2010, this will be the first time Tennant has reprised his role as the Tenth Doctor. During his reign as the Time Lord, Tennant appeared in three series as well as several specials. He was first revealed as the Doctor in the 2005 series finale, ‘The Parting of the Ways’.
Meanwhile Billie Piper, who played companion Rose Tyler for two series following the reboot in 2005, will appear in the show for the first time since featuring in Tennant’s last episode, ‘The End of Time’ in 2010.
Also confirmed to join the cast is John Hurt who will also co-star in the 3D anniversary special that will form part of blockbuster celebrations later this year.
The 50th anniversary will be written by Steven Moffat and Directed by Nick Hurran.
Filming for the 50th anniversary starts this week. Meanwhile Doctor Who returns tonight on BBC America (March 30, 8/7c), BBC One (30 Mar, 6:15pm), SPACE Channel (March 30, 8e/5p), and ABCTV (March 31, 7.30p) for a run of eight epic episodes, which officially introduces the Doctor’s newest companion, Clara Oswald, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman.
I am SUPER EXCITED for Rose & 10 (though I imagine it’ll be Rose and TenToo aka 10.5 aka metacrisis Doctor), but I really hope more people will make appearances! Like, I dunno, JACK HARKNESS! It’d be awesome to see Martha and Mickey again! It’d be awesome to see Donna and Wilf again! It’d be awesome to somehow see 9 again! It’d also be awesome to get people from Classic!Who to come back! :D THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE TO BRING BACK! :D
