Puggles.
(Baby Echnidas)
Oh my goodness. I have never seen baby echidnas. They are just SO FREAKING CUTE. They look so squishy!! And rolli-polli round and soft! GUH I LOVE THEM!!!!!
I decided to read up on this, and apparently people call both a baby Echidna and a baby Platypus a “puggle”, which seems to be technically incorrect, although common. According to my (very brief and NOT in-depth) research, echidnas gained the name “puggle” because they resemble an American toy character called a Puggle. Anyway, just wanted to inform. :)
Full disclosure: The bottom one’s back looks like raw chicken with the skin still on, which I find slightly disconcerting. :p

Break a prop? Just put it back and walk away… ha ha!!
Emma’s reaction though
Sometimes it freaks me out how much like their characters they are. Emma’s very concerned, Dan saves the day, Rupert laughs.
I’m never not reblogging this. They’re just so damn cute…
Holy crap. Emma is SO FREAKING ADORABLE.
After 63 days of gestation, a rare Sand Cat Kitten was born at Israel’s Zoological Center Tel Aviv Ramat Gan - Safari. Once plentiful in numbers in the dunes of Israel, the Sand Cat has become extinct in the region. This is Safari Zoo’s first successful Sand Cat birth and it is hoped this kitten will join Israel’s Sand Cat Breeding Program in order to help reintroduce the species into the wild.
