My favorite part about this picture is that right now, the LGBT community is in the fighting stage.
We will win very soon!

I think this speaks for itself. Accepting a person doesn’t mean you get to put limits on their freedom. You can’t be an ally and want us to stop talking, or labeling, or demanding to be heard.
Acceptance has no exceptions. Period.
“AS LONG AS YOU DON’T USE A WEIRD LABEL”
I have seen far too many people on tumblr start to whine that eight labels for sexuality is going “too far”, when a lot of those people know over 81 times that when it comes to Pokemon, and I’m pretty sure sexuality labels are more important that virtual monsters.
Sexuality and gender identity labels aren’t “frivolous”. And the vast majority of people that use them aren’t trying to be “special”, they’re merely trying to find a word that validates and explains their orientation - something that most people have and take for granted.
tl;dr: This person is amazing and I love their graphics so much it hurts.
“The Office of Human Rights transgender and gender identity non-discrimination campaign will appear throughout DC in Fall and Winter of 2012. The campaign will feature five transgender or gender non-conforming people in a series of five ads. The campaign aims to increase understanding of the community, reduce discriminatory incidents in DC and increase reporting of discrimination when it happens.”

Love this!
Oh my goodness I’ve been learning this over and over again recently. We’re all sinners. I’m not better than anyone else just because I don’t do certain things.

How can discrimination ever be the “best policy?”
I’m happily surprised that 4-H is cool with the gay!

Jesus loves everyone. I mean everyone—every single person on this planet.
“But what about ga—”
“What about divor—”
“Are you sure He likes trans—”
“Hey! What about prosti—”
“You can’t mean Musl—”
And if you dare to call yourself a Christian you better love the crap out…

“I don’t experience sexual attraction until forming a close emotional bond with someone” is not a slut shaming statement. “I don’t want to have casual sex” is not a slut shaming statement.
monogamy, asexuality, demisexuality, etc., are not the problem.
whatever people do or don’t choose to do in their private lives and whatever they feel or don’t feel towards other people, doesn’t fucking matter.
saying that “not only am I asexual, but everyone should be” or “I am demisexual and this is the orientation everyone should have because it’s always ethically best” are problematic, BUT I ALMOST NEVER SEE ANYONE SAY THIS.
What I see are the former statements, and them being interpreted in a way the latter should be. The point is personal choice and preference, identity and agency. People, for the most part, are not criticizing your sexual identity and/or behavior, but rather saying that theirs is different - to say that one has certain feelings (or a lack thereof) does not equal saying that those feelings are superior to the feelings of other people.
Like being gay is not a criticism of heterosexuality or heterosexual behavior, being asexual is not a criticism of sex or of sexual attraction. Like gay people who criticize heterosexuality (in attraction and behavior) there are asexual people who criticize sexual attraction and behavior, but the problem is not their orientation, nor their actions, but what they are saying about people who are more acknowledged and accepted and their anger is justified but misdirected.
