“This specialized kitchen equipment is suitable for a variety of impairments including fractures, permanent disabilities or paralysis to one side of the body. Designed for both left-handed and right-handed people, these tools are easily used with one hand, regardless of which is impaired.
All kitchen equipment consists of 7 elements, which help users to prepare food with one hand. Several fixing elements and non-slip rubbers keep the equipment still while in use. The brown pieces identify the moving parts in the system. The top board is used for food preparation and the bottom board is the cutting board. When both boards are working together, they keep the food stable allowing the user to cut with one hand. All kitchen equipment is easily detachable and all elements are washable.”

This Blood Lamp doesn’t look that bloody, but the way you turn it on can be considered gruesome. It only works once, and you need to add of a drop of your blood to activate it! The idea is to stop and think about how badly you need light before you use it. Designer Mike Thompson created the lamp in order to draw attention to how much energy we waste.

why is the entire world not investing in this
this is such a good investment why the fuck
guys this is good idea
omg i could probably get from new orleans to chicago in like, 15 minutes as opposed to 150 minutes
…..HOLY SHIT
YOU KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS
WE COULD ALL FINALLY MEET EACH OTHER
HOLY SHIT BALLS
O_O
Why is this not real yet
This needs to be.
This needs to happen.
can this be real
it would take like 3 minutes to get to my girlfriends house and backjust having this though seems like it would be dangerous. taking into consideration all of the things that could happen, it might be.
however i’m sure they’d work that all out beforehand!! this seems really neat uvu;
Car companies and oil companies would never let it happen. Cool idea tho.
My first thought was ‘I could go to England whenever, like just pop up when Sherlock or Who is filming.’
This would be amazing!

“The Ball Bed” the world’s first morphable bed, consisting of plush spheres that are connected by elastic bands, allowing you to twist and bend them in any way imaginable.
NEED
This is absolutely perfect for creating a more natural sitting/laying spot.
Cover it with something to mimic grass, dirt, rock…
It’s so perfect!
I want to cover it with soft, thick moss, open all my windows, throw on some nature sounds, and just live there forever.
This is what my otherlimbs need.

The Cyclus Pangolin Backpack is a good example of what great designers can achieve using materials overlooked by everyone else, the unique backpack is made from truck tire inner tubes, making it at once both waterproof and remarkably resilient.
THIS IS QUITE COOL. Reblogging for my eldest sister and her 3 month old baby.

Basic House designed by Barcelona based designer Martin Azua. It’s basically an lightweight balloon that can be carried in your pocket and used for shelter.
“The Basic House is a temporary housing solution so portable it can be folded up to fit in your pocket. Created from a metalized polyester material, when unfolded it self inflates with body heat or from the heat of the sun to provide an instant shelter. Once inside the shelter, the material reflects your body heat to keep the user warm. If reversed the material will reflect the sun to keep a cool interior.”
I NEED THIS FOR MY EMERGENCY BAG. SO GOOD.
they should invent
a treadmill
with a laptop built in
and unless you were walking, the internet wouldn’t work
like you had to be walking on it, you can’t just trick it and stand on the sides
i would lose so much weight
and like if you wanted to download something you had to run
and the faster you ran, the faster it downloaded
I’d be the skinniest bitch in this world.
This is the best idea ever.

A breath of fresh air: Clever gadget transforms the air from your lungs into energy to charge your phone
The clever piece of kit, dubbed the AIRE mask, harnesses the wind power created by breathing and converts it into electricity to run anything from your iPod to your mobile.
The electronic mask contains tiny wind turbines and the energy created is transferred through a cable to your electronic device.
Inventor Joco Paulo Lammoglia, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, said the device could be used in all situations from running to sleeping.
He said: ‘I hope to bring the concept into production and reduce the carbon footprint.
‘It can be used indoors or outdoors, while you’re sleeping, walking, running or even reading a book.
‘Besides saving energy and helping environmental preservation, it also encourages physical exercise.
‘Its energy is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
‘Though many of our modern gadgets offer benefits, they tend to use a high amount of electrical energy.
I love innovation, esspecially utilising something we take for granted; energy produced by the body, and in a way it’s a very personal effort at reducing one’s carbon footprint, while many others seem far removed like adding insulation to one’s home or buying ‘green’ energy.
But still, those masks, either they’re someone’s ideal cyber-punk accessory or your worst nightmare.
This is a fantastic idea! I think it’s genius!
However, it looks creepy. Furthermore, I can’t imagine that it helps with breathing. In fact it seems like it would hinder breathing. But wearing it while sleeping might work. Assuming it is able to stay in place despite how much I move around in my sleep. :P
Anyway, very cool idea! :)
